The Illusions of Innocence

Come to Tear Away the Veil of Purity

By Cecilia SofiaPublished 6 years ago 1 min read

In my lovers' eyes,

I'm an avenging goddess,

Or perhaps the queen of hell

Come to destroy the illusion of innocence.

Come to tear away the veil of purity

Here to dismantle his alter to demure glances and gentle touches.

I come bearing gifts of fire and lightning

Darling can you really tell me that you don't want to know what it feels like?

To embrace the filthy erotica found within my bedsheets?

To feel my nails scratch your back,

And my stilettos graze your claves?

Don't you want fold up those angel wings and put away your halo

Even if only for a night

It must be so exhausting to be good all the time

And how boring

How do you get through the day without looking forward to a passion

So bold it almost burns?

Tell me your secret.
