The Beast

A poem/song.

Found this on the interwebs and thought it went so well with the poem

When the demons come creeping back in

My blacken heart so full of sorrow

I fight to live with out this archaic sin

So bleak is the outlook of tomorrow

No matter how hard I try

It's a beast I continue to feed

No matter the tears I cry

The vein I open will always bleed

There's a blackness surrounding me

As I tear myself apart

In this cage I'll never be free

So I offer up my heart

No matter the how hard I try

It's a beast I continue to feed

Not matter the tears I cry

The vein I open will always bleed

I try so hard to make things right

With every breath that I take

I continue this war I fight

Even though this smile is fake

No matter how hard I try

It's a beast I continue to feed

No matter the tears I cry

The vein I open will always bleed

I'm ready to end it all

So this is the reason why

No one to catch me when I fall

This is my last good-bye

No matter how hard I try

It's a beast I continue to feed

No matter the tears I cry

The vein I open will always bleed
