"Brushes dipped in a soul of colours..."

Brushes dipped

in a soul of colours

a cornucopia of shaded swirls

grace the canvas

— the light reflects —

Glistening beams of the moon

bursting light

on forbidden shadows

untamed love.

— draw me in —

Immersed in love

in the space between heartbearts

fragmented thoughts of you

pulse.

— closer, pull me closer —

Unedited non-disposable blooms

slipping from lucid illusions—

reality shattered

by hard-wired memories.

— don't let the darkness in —

In the ether,

beyond here,

beyond the dreams

— there, right there —

Beyond this reality

lies another

where the constraints

are lifted

— where love lives —

And somewhere between

the cracks

the flowers

begin to bloom again
