Pixie Dust

Poem

You danced so lightly into my closed heart

tiptoeing by my insecurities

piercing through with a loving, caring, dart

opening up new possibilitiesI'm trusting that bitterly we'll not part

sailing together through adversity for our voyage, I have drawn up no chart

Can't summon a sea of serenityI'm no good at the culinary arts

Believe me, I never intend to be

Ah, sometimes you’re an annoying upstart

I, of course, always behave perfectly

I vow to sprinkle you with pixie dust

your special company I always lust
