It is this tragedy that binds me.
All of these things that remind me
Of a wasted youth of dreams.
A life so bitter sweet,
It makes me want to scream.
My happiness is not what it seems.
I buried long ago my feelings
So they would not show.
I have traveled a long hard road,
And now, I feel so cold.
This emptiness inside me grows.
I bear my soul with these words
Before I attempt to leave this world.
So, there's no mystery to my misery.
As god is my witness,
I can no longer take this.
So don't ask me to fake this.
Lonely as I am
No! No! No!
Better off dead
Lonely as I am
No! No! No!
Bullet to the head
You're right there's no mystery to our misery.
We'd rather give up than fight.
Are we insane?
Do we think we're the only ones
Who feel pain?
Are we blind, or just out of our mind?
That we see our life as a tragedy
It is sad to me!
What gives us the right
To give up our life, and deprive
The world of us being alive?
I'm not going to lie,
To lay down and die
Would just be a crime.
So as god is our witness,
Yes, we can take this.
I am the only one who hears our cries.
So open our heart and open our eyes.
Through the darkness I see the light.
I think it’s time we stand up and fight.
It's time we get out of our head,
Because, no one's better off dead!
Lonely as I am
No! No! No!
