Living with Fear

Ask Yourself

This is your home.

Do your fears come crushing down on you? Do they creep up behind you?

Or do they outsmart you? Flatter you?

Maybe they call you. You might answer to see who it is, but sense nothing, which scares you. What if your fears hide in you so that you don't see them? What if your fears are scared of you? You never know!

Have you seen one? By now it's fact that they can see you.

Maybe you've put them away? Somewhere safe and secure? Somewhere no one else is aware of? But there's no such thing as a closet in your mind! Only windows...

If you guard them, are they difficult to contain? Unless they're containing you LOL.

Now, do you know how many you have? You should.

So why are they even there? How did they come?

Did you invite them? Did someone else invite them?

Were they sent by something or someone?

How did they find you?

Moreover, why do they stay?

Are they not able to leave?

Do they not want to? Are they comfortable there?

Or is it that you don't want them to?

Maybe you've claimed them as yours.

They've become part of you if you have. That's fine if you wish to be identified as fearful. What do you do when they announce where they live now?

All they need is a home. Some shelter and security. Your mind seems like a good place. But did you know that they grow?

Did you know they evolve?

Did you know that they get to know you? Wouldn't a roommate be the same?

What happens when they know you so well, when they grow so big?

To the point where there's no space for you!

What happens when they start to get uncomfortable? Do they start bothering you?

Do they go as far as to kicking you out? Where would you go then?

But wait, that's your home!

Now they need more space, and only their heads fit through the windows.

Would you still want them to stay?

Maybe they need a bigger or better home for them.

You can no longer afford the space they need, even if you wanted to.

You only have one home...

As much as you like company, space is what they need. Not you anymore.

You must stay because it's your home and outside you are nowhere. Home is somewhere.

The battle for space goes on, only to get worse. They grow tired of you. You only shrink. They wish and do anything for more space.

Your home only has so much space. Grow it, and they too will grow into it. Wanna wait till they're fed up with you and do something about it?

So then what now? Is there no exit for them? Surely there was an entrance.

The entrance has no size or shape. It is only open.

An opening... Isn't that and exit too?

Home is somewhere, outside is nowhere. Home belongs to you. Outside belongs to no one.

Who does fear belong to? You? Or no one?

If something doesn't belong to you, why should it be in your home?

It will only be longing for that which it does. And it will do anything to go back. And it will go back.

What goes around comes around.

Now you both need space and home belongs to you and not them.

Tell them they need more space and that your home is all out.

Tell them that outside belongs to no one.

Let them free. Give them their space, not yours.

Home is your space, your space is you. Don't let anything take over your space, or they will take you with it.

Grow yourself, and your space will grow with. Grow your space, and your home will grow with it. Leave no space for fear.

You need all the space in your home, so be careful who and what you let in!!!
