Goodbye

You were my home.

You were the place I used to call home,

I feel like now I’m just stuck here alone.

The only reason I came here was for you,

But you pushed me and pulled me-

My heart is black and bruised.

I don’t know if I’ll recover from the scars you left in me,

I’m sitting her in pain and in constant agony.

I can make the feeling stop, but only for brief moments,

Until I’m alone again, left in the silence.

You’ll always be in my mind til the day that I die,

And though it’s tragic there was nothing left for us but “goodbye.”
