Come on, get up, I know it's hard you're beaten and scared. Life is rough and hard, but you gotta be tough and take pride in who you are.
Come on, get up, don't run and hide even if they beat you black and blue.
Come on, get up, That's it, take the hit. You'll gain from all this pain. Get to your feet and ask for more, show no defeat.
Come on, get up, lessons of life, Never surrender, Never give up and get back up.

Soldier's Eyes
In a soldier's eyes, life and death are one and the same yet ourselves we blame. We refuse to let the tears fall, too proud, we stand too tall. Every night we hear the screams and cries from a past we can't bring to light. Every damn day It's another fight, the one I fear the most is the battle within. I try to follow the herd of cattle and sheep, yet I can never get enough sleep. Wake up putting on this fake face to be accepted in this place I once called home. Now I roam around hiding behind the tears of a clown.

Pints & Parkruns: Jubilee, Spennymoor
If MC Escher created a parkrun, it might look a bit like Jubilee. Based in a compact – but surprisingly lovely – park in the small County Durham town of Spennymoor, it twists and turns its way up repeated hills. Although basic physics says it must come down again, somehow this route never feels like it gives runners a proper descent.
