V1. I plow the Imagination with garbage from my breath.

Return to shadows with no present credibility left

Cause with no morals around in so long,

Even Patton sees that our minds are gone.

But we don't attack a Side that didn't deserve it.

Thomas hearing us out? Now that is unheard of.

You better watch to whom you're talking, secrets unlocking

Cause the blinding light is easy to mock.

Hate the bastard music, but we've got to sing

So that our story causes bells to ring.

The theatre kid is 30, will he live to see 31

When our presence make his morals sting?

Chorus. Been spending most their lives

Living in a gay man's darkest mind.

Been spending most their lives

Living in a gay man's darkest mind.

Keep spending most our lives

Living in a gay man's darkest mind.

Keep spending most our lives

Living in a gay man's darkest mind.

V2. His attention, we are chasing, their hearts are racing,

We can't live a normal life, they're the core, we're the shit.

So we gotta fight them just to be seen,

Too much binging on the Disney makes us bad dreams.

I'm an educated teacher with a class deaf and blind

We've got fear, no filter, and a constrictor's eye.

Peel his eyes to the ugly, faults revealed smugly

Though we are down by one, our hope's not fugly.

Fool, guilt ain't nothing but chains weighing down

If he mustn't be human, then why are we around?

The Lights suffer molds, but when we try to break ours,

They want us as roadkill from cars.

Bridge. Tell me why have we all failed to see

That our bitter tongues made Virgil leave?

Chorus. Been spending most their lives

Living in a gay man's darkest mind.

Been spending most their lives

Living in a gay man's darkest mind.

Keep spending most our lives

Living in a gay man's darkest mind.

Keep spending most our lives

Living in a gay man's darkest mind.

V3. Force and deception, deception and force

Fear and pain are outcomes, but we don't have remorse.

We know that they are hearing, but none of them are listenin',

We just avert our eyes, Pat's fake smile is glistenin'.

They work with Virgil now, but they just won't accept us.

If they can't see they're human, how can we not fuss?

So, we'll just strain, so, we'll just shout.

If we want to get our way, we gotta force Logan out, fool!

Chorus. Been spending most their lives

Living in a gay man's darkest mind.

Been spending most their lives

Living in a gay man's darkest mind.

Keep spending most our lives

Living in a gay man's darkest mind.

Keep spending most our lives

Living in a gay man's darkest mind.

Bridge. Tell me why have we all failed to see

That our bitter tongues made Virgil leave?

Tell me why have we all failed to see

That our bitter tongues made Virgil leave?
