Flame

Burning

The flames that burn inside my heart,

Are the same as the fires that dwell in hell.

Burning me from inside out.

It hurts so bad, It burns so hot.

Why can't this hate stop?

The flames lick my hatred,

So hot, so sweet.

He killed me.

Burned me as I am,

Tied to the stake.

Which! They called me,

As he just laughed.

He lit the torch,

As they all just stared!

BURN HER!

BURN HER!

They chanted as he lit the wood aflame!

I must be cursed.

Such hatred, such FIRE!

As the burning starts licking my ankles

I scream out in pain.

It burns my legs,

The fire burns red hot now,

As my flesh blisters.

The smell is horrid.

I hear children screaming as my last breath escapes.

I am dead.

But I am not gone.

As the fires burn the last of my flesh,

The flames of hell will not burn me yet.
