Falls Departure
Love and Choice
Another day,
Another smile
To light eyes
And thoughts Anew.
A stranger's face
A stranger's voice,
Fresh beginnings
In an unused file-
Thoughts captured
Moments glimmer,
Tin types in mind.
We spend seconds
Minutes, hours,
Days, weeks,
Years,
Wondering and waiting
For the loved lost
To return
To our empty hands.
Whilst new waits
With full palms
And bright lights
Disperse shadows
Glowering behind.
Blind eyes see
But closed mind
Wonders-
Is it too soon,
Too late,
Am I right or left?
Will they return,
The past of the past,
To bring happiness
To my door again,
Or do I chase
New stirring leaves?
And leap Before fall departs.

Oh, wow....nice. All of us have had these feelings and thoughts. It is easy to relate to these words. You have to have experienced these words in order to set them to ink. You are beyond brilliant.
