Do We Ever Get Rid of It?

Before I came out of depression, I challenged its presence.

Do we ever get rid of it? Or do we just learn to live with it?

A mind with so many lemons it gets sour in this b****. Always bittersweet.

There’s another stone which we managed to get to. We hopped on the lane and landed on a safety net.

But do we ever get rid of it? Or do we just learn to live with it?

We go through trials and tribulations and pass the black and white. We greet another soul that gives us an inch of colorful. And we try to make sure the ship doesn’t seesaw too much to make it sink.

But do we ever get rid of it? Or do we just learn to live with it?

If the sword meant war, and the shield meant defense. We rely relentlessly on our minds playing fence. But we HAVE HAD STRENGTH. We skated on the ice. One time. Two times. Thrice.

Do we ever get rid of it? Or do we just learn to live with it?

A house so warm you’d think you were in the right direction. The phase where peace really is a forthcoming section.

And there’s still the infection. And it’s...correction.

So I'ma ask you all again.

Do we ever get rid of it? Or do we just learn to live with it?
