Dissolved

A Poem

On the night of the full moon

I stepped out

To see the night

And to see

The stars and the trees

But really

I just left

To be alone

And feel the wind

And not be in my body

To leave my skin

To shed my hair

To lose my bones

To peel my nails

To be bare

And fill my shell

With the stars

And the trees

And the night

And the moon

To turn my hair

to wisps of wind

to make my bones

as leaves

and my eyes as stars
