The brightest star of the south gave her, her name. Carina. The island itself was a perfect reflection to the heavens a gateway to his heart. Where the light divided the sea, she said is where I shall be. Night after night she longed for her love. As did he. The border bridge between land and waves of sky is what proved her life. He finally understood her. Her golden gem wasn't underneath her fabric, Or what was plastered onto her face. It was hidden in the gallery of her laughter, Her smiles, Her unbothered way of his flaws. Then that's when the gates opened for both carina & Volans. And she tested his purity of heart by asking, "what am I to you?" And all he could respond with "valued Treasure, that even though the ages holds no amount of age in love."

Was I a Model in Japan?
During my time in Nagoya I worked and lived at the strangely famous hostel and café Nagonoya. With its chequered floors and florescent lighting it felt quite dated, but I think that was supposed to be part of the charm. The dorms were always fully booked on weekends with domestic tourists and there was always a buzz in the downstairs café. Camera crews were constantly in and out of the place interviewing the Japanese staff members who worked the café. I think it had something to do with the egg sandwiches. At least that was what was on most of the merchandise, except for that one dishcloth with the owner’s face on it. Was I being employed by a local celebrity?
