Come tend the fire
Don't let it die
Keep it burning
The day is nigh
Come tend the fire
Keep it alive
Feel the warm throughout
So love can thrive
Come tend the fire
Sit by the hearth
Feed the flames
And wait for the birth
Come tend the fire
Give it some life
Gather the holly
Far and wide
Come tend the fire
The mantle strewn
With fir and spruce
Lit by the moon
Come tend the fire
The embers glow
The gift of the stag
Keeps our heart full
Come tend the fire
Frost on the glass
The Yule log burns
'Fore night has passed
