Be the Light

I stay positive for friends and foes.

They're the ones who need it the most.

I try to be the light of their lives.

Just to keep them one more night.

Alive.

They need to know someone cares.

Love me, or hate me, I am here.

I take care of all who need,

because I am already so proud of me.

A couple hundred days, then I am free.

To go to my next place and be exactly where I need to be.

I'll still be me just in different places,

a place to see some new brilliant faces.

I love.

I laugh.

But, most importantly,

I live.

For the people who can't...

I will for them.
