Look at me like a piece of artwork
Look at the fine outer lines of my figure
The bold colors of my background
The way my body is angled
My hand placement
Smile
Eyes
Face
Look at all of me
My faults
The missing paint
The frame that surrounds me
The way my canvas has aged don’t just keep me on a wall to rot
Show me off in your living room
And show me off more than others have
Do not pack me away
Don’t throw me away
Like others have hang me up and at least look at me with soft eyes everyday
And let your breath hitch in your throat every time you see me
Look at me like I’m your favorite piece of artwork
