Let me tell you what a broken heart is.
It’s not breaking up with your boyfriend or not having your way.
Though that is excruciating pain.
A broken heart doesn’t happen once in a while.
A broken heart is that shatter every time tears run down your face.
The massive amount of blood spread all over just to be disappointed.
Feeling like everything that you worked so hard for is for nothing because
you have no one to feel the rewards with you.
They will just pass by.
A broken heart knows what is going to happen to all those people who have so much potential.
A broken heart is seeing the face of the great I AM and keeping silent.
A broken heart is hearing a child’s scream.
A broken heart is not being able to provide for your family.
It is the pain of burdens hanging on your neck for 50 years.
Pain of migraines, failure, and repeating mistakes.
A broken heart is looking into your eyes knowing that you deserve the finest,
and not being able to give that to you.
A broken heart is seeing failing marriages all over the world.
A broken heart knows that you had to leave others behind.
A broken heart isn’t just sadness.
It is seeing the sun for the first time in a week.
Falling on your knees.
Humbleness.
A broken heart is the thankfulness that he provides everything you need and more.
It is the feeling that life couldn’t be better.
A broken heart is the first glance at your child.
The days spent with your best friends and the day you graduate into heaven.
When you hear him say, “Well done my good and faithful servant.”
